Kodiak Kids, more than an app
Every day, children are online. And risks don't wait.
Kodiak Kids is a child protection platform that works directly on the device - in real time, visible to parents, and transparent to those who should not get through. It's not here to take the internet away from children. It's here to make it safer.
Why
Children bypass restrictions in five minutes.
Research from Australia and the UK shows that children can get around network and platform restrictions in just a few minutes - using YouTube tutorials.
Parents set rules. Children find workarounds. Platforms react slowly. Regulators arrive too late.
The only protection that actually works is the kind that runs directly on the device. That is exactly what KKS does.

How it works
Kodiak Kids works through a local VPN tunnel on the child's device. All internet traffic passes through it - which means protection stays active, and the child cannot use another VPN while KKS is installed on the device.
DNS queries are matched against a local domain database (~15 MB). Access decisions happen in milliseconds: allow, soft-block, or hard-block. Parents see the result immediately.
Activation - The parent creates an account, pairs the child's device with a one-time code or QR code, and sets rules based on age.
Real-time protection - The system automatically blocks risky content, with no manual monitoring required.
Parental insight - Daily and weekly reports, real-time alerts, and the ability to approve the child's access requests.

For Schools and Institutions
Kodiak Kids is not just for families.
Thanks to its multi-user architecture, KKS is applicable in schools, municipalities, and telecom environments. Centralized policy management, a school mode compatible with mobile-free approaches, and a 30–60 day pilot model with measurable KPIs.

Give children the freedom to explore. Just not without protection.
